Interesting Architectural Project

Snort | Posted in General Discussion on August 16, 2008 12:17pm

Work was drying on the vine when we got a call to help with the trim on this project. Phew!

It’s pretty different from most of our projects. One of the homeowners is the architect, and she is struttin’ her stuff in some very neat ways.

Corey and Kindon work with me and are really happy to have someone else bossing them around… me, I’ve got no idea what’s going on.

Now you see this one-eyed midget Shouting the word “NOW” And you say, “For what reason?” And he says, “How?” And you say, “What does this mean?” And he screams back, “You’re a cow Give me some milk Or else go home”

Hey, ya do what ya can when you've been out of work for 2000yrs. Now you see this one-eyed midget

      Shouting the word "NOW"

And you say, "For what reason?"

      And he says, "How?"

And you say, "What does this mean?"

And he screams back, "You're a cow

      Give me some milk

      Or else go home"

Glad you got some work going for you Holly. It looks like a good job for awhile. Bob's next test date: 12/10/07

Quote of the day: "...can't be done, it will take too long, not enough pipeline capacity, yada yada but yet they don't apply the same skepticism to their own "solutions" such as wind and biofuels"

Yeah, and it's nice working with other crews... I almost got to try somebody's Festool saw rig today, but was too busy bsing with the super. Now you see this one-eyed midget

          Shouting the word "NOW"

And you say, "For what reason?"

          And he says, "How?"

And you say, "What does this mean?"

And he screams back, "You're a cow

          Give me some milk

          Or else go home"

How many times have you been hit in the face with a cat?

"All of these guys bring intellectual rigor .."

Can we have some proof of that?

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.

      Nice pics,

Are the riser heights on the stairs consistent?

Chuck Slive, work, build, ...better with wood

      1. Snort | Aug 16, 2008 03:35pm | #10

Which set, Chuck? The main set has another issue, as I see it. That 1/2 riser deal catches my heels on the descent...could make someone's trip down a lot quicker. Now you see this one-eyed midget

        Shouting the word "NOW"

And you say, "For what reason?"

        And he says, "How?"

And you say, "What does this mean?"

And he screams back, "You're a cow

        Give me some milk

        Or else go home"

With 3 miter saws and 2 table saws set up in that little gallery, cats swing at their own risk. Now you see this one-eyed midget

      Shouting the word "NOW"

And you say, "For what reason?"

      And he says, "How?"

And you say, "What does this mean?"

And he screams back, "You're a cow

      Give me some milk

      Or else go home"

I had my ups and downs when going through the blog.  Just about clicked off when seeing the cat door.

But I hung in there and was back on track, when reading about the twelve step program the owner went on.

Fun project, I'll bet.  I love contemporary woodwork.  Rustic?  Gag me with a spoon.

I thought you might like some of the stylings. I'll try to get some pics of some other features on Mon... like a door that opens into it's own little niche, the 4 slab pocket/bypass system, peep holes every where...So, you know of any hinges to make that cat hole work with a 1/4" door? Now you see this one-eyed midget

      Shouting the word "NOW"

And you say, "For what reason?"

      And he says, "How?"
