Attempting to install Johnson invisible latches on some 2/8 closet doors. Following their instructions and using their enclosed template plate does not yield good results….the latch does not line up with the strike. So now I’m trying to measure, line up, etc., from scratch. Any clever techniques would be greatly appreciated.

Place blue tape near strike, use majic marker on end of latch, move two parts together and walla! The marker easily rubs off giving an important clue as to where things are.
Good luck.
