Is "Rock Wool" insulation s…

Just purchased an unfinished house that came with some rock wool insulation. Some of it installed, some of it ready to be installed. I don’t know anything about this stuff. Is it safe to handle or should I get rid of it? Thanks for the input.

    The insulation industry calls the stuff "mineral wool". For their position on safety check http://www.naima.org/faq.shtml or search "mineral wool insulation".
