Is Spackle JP with less water
I find that this stuff drys just slightly faster than JP – but I’m expecting this because it’s less watery….
At $14 a gallon……..I was expecting something for the $$ 😉
I’m using DAP Crack Shot *high performance spackling paste*.
I think spackle usually contains PVA- i.e., wood glue. That makes it adhere better and set faster. Joint compound doesn't have it.
By the way, you can add water to spackle to thin it down and make it easier to finish, it still works.
"so it goes"
And yer not willing to pay 14 per gallon and not question it ?
They werent counting on that.
