Is there a corner shower kit that isn’t junk?
I’ve got a small bathroom in a mother in-law suite and need to do a corner shower. The local Home Depot has a few from ASB and the vary from $300 to $700. Quick searching online suggests that the pan breaks on these regularly.
I’ve got about 38″ max on the two corner walls.
Is using a kit a disaster waiting to happen? What’s an effective, long lasting and reasonably priced solution for this situation?
Many thanks.

I'd go somewhere besides Home Depot. Their shower kits are like something you'd get at Wally World.
There are a number of fiberglass units out there, but unfortunately the smallest I've found is 38-3/4", with more at 40.
We have a Kohler corner shower that has lasted 16 years now. Pretty good quality, I think.

Indeed, Kohler makes a good solid base. You can fabricate the walls out of your choice of solid surface material. Pretty darn near indestructible and low maintenance.
Viewing the ABS ones at HD may give you a false impression. I've got something similar in a Mobile Home and once properly installed it has been solid and I've been happy with it.
