This new setup

It’s about as clear as mud.

Why does it take ten minutes to load a page? (I’m not exaggerating. Ten minutes…)
Is there some setting I should be changing to make this work quicker? If so, Where? What?

I read a thread that talked about changing preferences by clicking on an icon that says “My Forum”. No such icon anywhere. I looked where I was told but no. I looked elswhere, but no.

What gives? Bugs in the system still or is this the way it’s gonna be from now on?
