I need to add an isolated ground bus bar to a small subpanel recently installed and realized if I mount it with standard metal screws, I’ll bond it to the panel which is what I’m trying to resolve. Does anyone have thoughts/ experience on how this is to be accomplished? Thanks.

What you want is the ground bonded to the sub-panel (box), and the neutral isolated from it. If the existing neutral is properly isolated, then what you've already got is right.

Sorry, yes, I did mean to indicate that the bus will be used to isolate the neutrals, I just have never heard of it referred to as a 'neutral bus/ bar'... thanks all.
It is the neutral bar (aka a 'floating neutral') which is supposed to be isolated ina sub-panel, not the ground bar.
The ground bar should be bonded to the panel box itself.

The better the society, the less law there will be. In Heaven, there will be no law, and the lion shall lie down with the lamb. The values of an unjust society will reflect themselves in an unjust law.
