Adelphia, they are the only cable provider in my area.

I have Verizon. There good but a little pricey (I think $19.95). I know I could get cheaper but i'm too lazy to change.
I have Verizon Fios (fiber optic). When they strung the lines in my neighborhood, dialup speed got halved ( some coincidence) so there was little choice.
We use Cox Communications (cable) here in Rhode Island, because they're the fastest. We had Verizon, but the speed was disappointing.
For web hosting, we lease a server from Liquid Web, in Lansing, MI.

I use cable modem $65.50 but free cable tv.
comcast cable broadband . Dsl isnt available
110 per month internet and basic cable
$103 ransom to Cableone every month. 3 meg internet, and a bunch of TV and music channels. We get more TV than we need, but music is nice and on almost all the time. The fast internet is kickazz....only one bad thing about it....it spoils you for dialup ;)

Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.
WE are lucky to get a little choice through the cable company (AOL/Time Warner). We use Earthlink, because they have a decent rep. and they have dialup access for all the places we travel.
I'm sure the actual cable company is the technical supplier, and the money is undoubtably split between the two. $44.95 a month, but the total bill with cable TV, one DVR plus one digital box (for the carriage house) and taxes is right at $124.
I'm looking at switching and getting a phone bundle too from Wide Open West (WOW), but I need to price the "extras".
