Six years ago I bought, through a little magazine ad, a truly great pair of
carpenter’s jeans (with built-in knee pads!) from an outfit named Jacques
Dubois. Does anyone know if they’re still around? Or, have you found
another good pant with knee pads? Thanks.

*I bought a pair of those, they're called Skillers. They look like clown pants, they have different color knees and pockets.Try http://www.skillers.com
*I used to buy some work jeans to roof in through the JC Penney workwear catalogue.Heavy blue denim with BIG leather patches on the knees.Built in foam padding between the denim and leather at the knees. As a bonus ,great big leather back pockets that really saved wear an tear on my can while sliding around on the roof.I think these are still carried in the catelogue, and I also think I have seen similar ones in the ads in FHB.Good Luck,Stephen
*Thanks Stephan; amazingly, that describes the Jacques Dubois pants exactly. To Penney's I go!
