I have a cast iron kitchen sink with 1 1/4″ diameter holes. I found a faucet online (hansgrohe) that needs a 1 1/2″ diameter hole. Does anyone know of a way to make it fit the existing sink?

Cast iron is relativly soft..a 1/2 carbide bit in a variable speed router set to the lowest rpm will do it. You will trash the bit, buy 2. Slobber some pastewax arond the swath of the cutter, go slow.
if its enameled, tape it up with blue tape first.
Oh, and helper with a spritz bottle of soapy water helps too.
