We have never used them before. Are they really worth the money? We have used Andersen window quite often and find they are a good window. How does the Kolbe and Kolbe compare. It should be very interesting. They are using Kolbe wood replacement windows in the front of the house and new construction in the back. Look forward to some information.

I can't comment on how they stack up against Andersen, but I pretty much only install Kolbe & Kolbe. I think they are excellent quality and worth the price. The only time I ever had a quality problem, they replaced it no questions asked. But I also like them because I have an excellent relationship with my distributor, and that's what they sell. I just put in two exterior french doors of theirs, and although they were not cheap, I think they are the nicest glass doors I have ever seen. I especially like the adjustable hinges on their doors.
*I got some sash kits from them and its 2 thumbs way up!
*I have used them at the request of 2 different homeowners, I liked them. A lot of my homeowners wouldn't spend the money on them, but I think it's worth the expense. I too used their french entry door. It was a triple unit and it was awesome, gotta love the locking system and adustability on those doors. Oh Yeah, I thought the windows were good too.Steven
