As a first time homebuilder first let me say that this site is great! I’m finding many answers to the thousands of questions we have and I appreciate the fact that you’re taking the time to post an answer. We’re still trying to decide whether to go with cultured or real stone. I’ve been told that you can get the type of real stone we want somewhat cheaper than the cultured, but the labor costs for laying real is twice as much as cultured. Is this true? Also, will the cultured stone last as long as the real stuff? This is our final home so hopefully we’ll enjoy it for many years to come. The last thing I want to be doing is replacing stone 20 years from now. Any thoughts.
