Ray, doesn't your column have a screw jack to fine tune it?

Calvin, the structural engineer gave me the drawings for a 4" column. He did not specify if I can use an adjustable type,it just points to a standard column..

Ray, it wouldn't be one of those junk telescope it out and put the pins in columns. It is prob,(but find out) the HUD approved 4" steel suitable for beam support columns. If it is, you will be asked at order for the size. They come in I believe 3" increments. ex: 6' 3" to 6' 6". They will have a turn screw that will take them up or down to make up that 3" variable. Check with the eng. but I'm thinking these are the ones.
