(This is along the lines of the PLS laser post, but I need some immediate feedback.) I have looked at the all the laser level posts I could find on this site. The RoboLaser sounds interesting for outside, one man use. The PLS3/5 looks good for interior work. Self-leveling seems to be preferred, but is a little expensive. I looked at some on-line catalog adds for the LaserMark torpedo levels. They run about $300 with a beam bender (right angle), beam spreader (chalk line), & tripod adapter. I need something that is versatile (ie, shooting grade, squaring, inside work) but not too expensive. What do you think? RoboLaser, PLS, or torpedo (with attachments)???

Rusty..i got a CST /Berger Laser Rail (2 ft level)
and a tripod adapter to use with my old transit tripod...worked great..
but i got a nice addition job that was going to need a lot of crawl space leveling and splurged for the PL-3...
now the best thing about my Laser Level is that i still got it. and my guys let me use it all i want...
so it rides around in my truck with me and goes out on estimates.....
but they won't give up the PL-3... you figger it out...
