I’m getting my driveway resealed. $125 w/ a 1 year guarantee. It would $100 in materials for me to do it so I’ll pay someone. Guy will use latex sealant. It’s May in NJ, temps still around 60 degrees. He’s coming this Monday (high of 63).
Are there min temps I should wait for before getting the driveway sealed? Will a low temp affect adhesion?
Thanks in advance.

What'd you finally find out?
Latex paint requires the surface to be above 50°F typically. Granted, the sealer is not paint, but 60° air temperature sure sounds safe. The blacktop is probably hotter anyway.
Too hot is bad, though. You want the sealer to penetrate, adhere, and form a film. If the surface is hot it could just dryout rather than form the best protective layer.
My guess, therefore, is that your conditions are close to ideal.
Actually, that's perfect weather, assuming it stays dry for a full day. Check the weather forcast.

If it would cost you that much in materials to do it yourself, how in the heck do you think this guy is gonna provide any type of warranty, let alone a year?
I vote for skipping this bid. It doesn't pass the smell test.
You might want see him take the sealant out of unopened cans.
If it costs that much it would be tempting to stretch it.
