My HVAC sub installed PVC coated metal duct 6-10″ round under concrete slab in basement. Ground water is seeping in. It’s a zoned system also. One zone had five inches of water in it. Sub says the ductwork was not intended to be water tight. The duct is probably under footing level about 2-4inches Local plumbing and building inspector says they should be water tight. Any comments.
