ledger board on concrete foundation wall
I just finished replacing a deck with a poured foundation with a sun room on it, now I have to tie the other existing deck to the foundation, that means a ledger board on concrete with no siding above, how do you flash such a beast?

If your truly not penetrating the siding it sounds like you only have to
use spacers 'tween the ledger and the foundation.Any water that gets
behind it will drain away. There's also air space to help it dry.Theres a
company that makes little disks designed for this that I've seen
advertised in FHB.But you could probably use trex or something at the
lag spots instead. In the Mike Maines article in the current issue he
talks about spacing doubled up joists as well for the same reason.
You can lag a PT ledger directly to the concrete, or if you're worried about moisture wicking into the ledger apply it over a strip of bituthane. Use Z-flashing on the top edge of the ledger and seal it with urethane caulk to the foundation, or just use a bead of PT-rated adhesive (such as PL500) between the top of the ledger and the concrete during installation.
