Just ahd to post about these blades.
Just fantastic! Best ever!
I had to remove a fiberglass tub enclosure yesterday and have had trouble in the past finding the right combination. This blade cut it like butter. I had the entire tube out in 6 pieces in about 15 minutes.
Last time I did this it was with a variety of other blades and it took 2 hours.
Good to find something that works real good!

Glad to hear you like the Lennox products. Lennox has answered the needs of the fire service and the fact that others find uses for their product will send a message to Lennox that they made the right decision. We use the Lennox blades exclusively in our firehouse. (We see about 250-plus motor vehicle accidents a year) This blade was designed for vehicle extrications where you are required to cut steel, glass, plastic, upholstery ans sometimes, all of those simultaneously and very quickly. I realize that in the trades time is money, but in the rescue business time has an even higher value. I would encourage you to send your message again...this time to the Lennox website.
Regards,
Bill...Firefighter/EMT/Rescue Technician and sometimes craftsman.
Yeah buddy, I have been using them since they first came out..about 10 yrs?..maybe longer, whatever, they are the cat's knees..and the bee's azz.
Pricey, but the only thing that would cut these old whiteoak logs here at the shack, with occaisonal limestone rock in between.

I'm also a firefighter/EMT, although volunteer. Ditto on the quality of the blades. In fact, after our trainings, I cob the discards, which are still great to use on wood and some metal. These definately the best blades I've used!!
BTW, where do you usually find those to buy?

Most plumbing and electrical supply houses carry them. Their two main products are hole saws and recip blades. They make a lot of different blades. They have others like the fire and rescue but not as thick.
The fire and rescue are 960R they are about 2/3 down the page.

They are available at Lowes here in Abilene. The tool rep at Lowes told me when the blade rep first started stocking them for him, the blade rep gave him a video that showed them ripping a bus in half with one.

Don't know if you saw the link I posted above for 7 Corners hardware, but in looking at both sites - I see that 7 Corners is about 10% less expensive.
Here is the link again if you're interested

Around Raleigh, they are available at the big box stores...
Friday I picked up some Lenox utility knife blades. "Titanium" - gold colored edge. Hope I like em as well as the saws-all blades.
