   I've installed hundreds of them. They misssed the vinyl window revolution here and went under about 4 or5 years ago, but their New Brunswick factory is operating again under another operator (Norwood, I think?) I don't think there's anything special about them, good or bad. They are just another mid-grade wooden window. The Truth hardware they used was not up to the job of handling large casement units, but average size units were no problem and Truth hardware is stil available. Expect glazing failures to begin at 8 - 10 years (check the IGMAC date inside the glazing units). I really can't think of anything bad to say about them. When we bought them, we got what we paid for.

   I am considering buying a house that has Lockwood windows (a Canadian product.) Has anyone had experience with these windows? Are they a quality product? I've searched online and can't find any information at all about them, so any pointers to resources would be appreciated.

   hi there

   my manufactured home has lockwood windows with crank,  and a friend of mine has a very expensive home with the same windows,   the windows in my place are quite old and they are starting to get moisture in them between the panes,  and the cranks are a pain,  my friends windows look great,  so that is all i can tell you

   His post is from 2000, so I'd guess he either bought it and is dealing with them or

   he didn't buy the house.
