   Isn't it going to be the same regardless of material? 4-inch sphere cannot pass through any part, cannot have climbable horizontal members, etc.

   What you said. Safety guidelines are universal, try for non-climbable, especially if there's kids around."If 'tis to be,'twil be done by me."
