A couple of moths ago I read a tip about applying clear caulk over grout at a joint. The idea was to cut the grout back deeper into the joint and cover with a bead of clear caulk. That way the seam is the exact color of the grout. (Ie: I can’t get caulk the correct shade.)
The issue is I don’t want to use the typical shiny caulk. Anyone know of a caulk that has a matte finish? I’ve tried several different kinds with no luck.
Thanks

Most grout manufacturers offer a color match caulk that is either non-sanded, or sanded depending on the type of grout you use. The sanded caulk is less shiny, but needs a larger gap to look right.

As the prrevious poster said use color matched caulk, from a real tile store.
Have you looked at the Accucolour line of caulks? They have 50-60 available - not all are stocked in all retail stores.
