YOU MIGHT TRY LOOKING FOR OLD BARNS IN YOUR AREA OR A CALL TO LOCAL TIMBERFRAME BUILDER WAS A GOOD SUGGESTION. OR SINCE IT'S A FINISHED COTTAGE INTERIOR IT SEEMS NOT THAT MUCH WOULD BE NEEDED YOU MIGHT TRY POSTING OVER ON TAUTON'S FINEWOODWORKING SITE OR TO A WEB SEARCH FOR RECYCLED WOOD BEAMS OR WHAT HAVE YOU. I DIDN'T KEEP THE WEB ADDRESSES BUT I HAVE SEEN THE BEAMS LISTED FOR SALE AT DIFFERENT TIMES. BEST TO YOU.

Try Harmony Exchange. They act as brokers/locators (for a fee of course), to find timbers, log, SIP stuff from local mills in your area. http://www.harmonyexchange.com
