Does anybody know where I can get vinyl fence in anything other than white. I’d like something redwood or cedar in color with alittle grain but could probably settle for even plain old brown.
Thanks.

duck and cover ryan.. i see incomming on this one...
but i do know one thing.. the colors added to vinyl degrade the vinyl.. that's why most of the mfrs. only do white... that's why most of the replacement window mfrs. only offer white...
think about a vinyl prep. and paint...
*vinyl and redwood! in the same sentence? Ryan! I was starting to think you were o.k. Admirable even! Oh how the mighty have fallen...
*When you find it, can we use it to fence off south Jersey from the rest of the state?LOL - Just kidding Ryan ...
*RyanTry Kroy Building Products. (kroybp.com)They are in york, nebraska (how do you think they got their name...)Products are available in White, Tan and grey. I think one of those will match redwood, depending on how poorly you maintain the redwood :)Adam
*Ryan,I'm almost certain that Certainteed offers their vinyl fencing/railing in colors other than white.Red dog
*Certainteed's what I've used here. I asked my lumberyard about other colors today and was told only white was available. Maybe they just don't know they product that well. I'll contact certainteed. Thanks.
*Just type "Certainteed" in the box at the top of your screen. I like it when they're this simple.Anyone else heard about problems with pigmented vinyl? Obviously most vinyl siding is colored. I was reading an article at the paint store today warning that painting over vinyl with a darker color will cause massive paint failure due to thermal movement...
*Close, but not quite... We're gonna fence off North Jersey from the rest of the WORLD. After all, that's the crummy industrial part. ;)
*I checked out the Certainteed site. The FAQ for their higher end fencing is atCertainteed Bufftech FAQThe more pertinent information:WHY DON'T YOU MAKE DARK COLORS?Titanium dioxide is the main ultraviolet inhibitor. It is a white pigment. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain a dark color while having this significant amount of white pigment. Dark colors also absorb heat. There is no current technology that dissipates this heat buildup. In doing a quick browse, I saw tan and grey as other available colors, depending on style. There may be more, I didn't look at them all. Hope you can find something to suit ya.Sean
*That's what we want people to think, so they won't move here and we won't continue to see open land consumed by development. You're right (wat exit?) New Jersey's horrible ... nothing but chemical plants ... keep thinking that ...Thank you for your support! :)
*No exit. I'm from the other side of the river, Philly born & raised. I really don't have any problems with North Jersey, except the Devils. I hate the Devils.Sean
