Looking for timer switch for bathroom?
I need some help finding a timer switch that will control the fan and heater in a bathroom I bought a set 6 months ago in menards that had five buttons on the face of the switch that let you run the fan for 5 different times and now they don’t carry them any more and I need some ideas as to were to look?

I get mine at EFI.ORG. They have a few different kinds. I usually get one very much like the one you describe.
Al Mollitor, Sharon MA
grainger has them too
Leviton carries it. #Catalog Number: 6515M-W UPC# 07847784392
Any decent electrical supply house should carry it or be able to get it for you in a few days.
Check out their website leviton.com and do a product search. They have other units but I find this one is the most popular for your needs. I am not a fan of the rotary/ dial type.
I am attaching a cut sheet of the product. It has 4 buttons 2, 5, 10, and 15 mins. Never done this before so let's see if it works.

That might be what he wants. But the EFI unit is much different. It is a single switch that controls both lights and fan.It is "programble" so that the fan will stay on a fix number of minutes after you turn the light off.
Yeah, I read the web page describing the switch. I had looked it up once before when someone had mentioned it in another post a couple of months ago - maybe you. Figured I'd give the gregmn an alternate choice. It's what we use and allows flexability of timing without reprograming. Sometimes ya need 2 min of fan time; sometimes, 10. ; )F
Or you could go an alternate route...
We have regular wall switches for the lights in the bathroom. The fans, however, are controlled by occupancy sensors. Leviton makes them for their flourescent lights but they should work well with most small fans. A saucer in the ceiling combined with a powerpack and the fan comes on everytime someone enters the bathroom. You can even set a timer.
That way, smells/humidity are automatically evacuated, whether day or night. If the fan is quiet enough, it won't be objectionable. Our "fan" is actually an HRV, which goes into high-speed mode during bathroom occupancy, otherwise it runs on the lowest speed for continual air exchange. The bathrooms seemed like the best place to pull air from... :-)
