Looking for tool test on 12″ mitre saws
I’m gonna buy either a 12″ Delta or a Bosch mitre saw next week and I wondered if F.H. had done tool tests on these saws anytime.
Thanks kindly

Few people understand it. Nobody agrees what it is, how to learn about it, or who's responsible for it. It has never been more important

Bosch wins.
Yes, just a few months back as I recall. Bosch and the new Delta both did very well with the DeWalt #706 third. For the money, I cannot see me buying the Delta over the Bosch, but then, I already have the 706, so I don't need another right now.
Go for the Bosch. I reviewed a dozen 12" saws last spring for FHB - I think the article came out in the early summer. The Delta is good if you need that extra little bit of capacity against the fence or on the flat. But for features and function, I like the Bosch. All up front controls, best handle (adjustable), fair crown stops (the Delta has the best).
If you are veering toward the Delta, I'd suggest spending a couple extra bucks and just getting a 10" Slider. Then you get crosscut galore.
