I am looking for a set of cabinet screwdrivers with oval shaped beechwood handles and a continuous shaft that is sandwiched between the two peices of the handles and attached with rivets. I have searched on the web and have not found anything like it but I have seen them somewhere before. Has anyone seen these and do you know where I could buy them?

got a set of three some 15+ years ago as a mail order promotion from somewhere - still have them and they are nice - - sorry I don't know where you might get them now, but I'll bump this to the top so it doesn't get lost...
Lee Valley Tools used to sel them; haven't seen them for a while. I have a couple that are seveal generations old. I perfer the 'London Pattern' ones that I think Lee Valley still sells.....beech turned handles, good steel with a flat on them bleow the handle, so you can clamp a wrench on them for extra leverage.

Did you inadvertantly hit the "insert" button on your keyboad?
Possible.....anything is possible. laughed at your 'back charge 'em all' crack in the fest thread....
Re: screwdrivers.....I've got some oval ones like mentioned here, also have a set of the English 'London Pattern' ones which I really like, with the flat on the shaft to fit a wrench on to.....I also have some great ones Lee Valley sells, which have a rounded, triangular wood handle....when I bought mine, they were only available as Philips, now you can get square drive and slot also, so I'll have to add-on. Highly recommended.

I got some from Brookstone years ago. I didn't like them much, though. That oval handle just didn't work for me.
