Me and one helper probably had close to 1,000 total into it.

50 hrs a week x 2 guys = alot of work. What's wrong with me?  I could ask you the exact same thing.

When I get the check off this house I probably will pull the trigger.  That guy still has that one I talked about earlier for $5000. What's wrong with me?  I could ask you the exact same thing.

Thanks man,  the GC is probably going to have to call Armin or Stan for the handrail on the stairs. What's wrong with me?  I could ask you the exact same thing.

The house is 2100 sq ft,  without the basement.

The garage is 970 sq ft,  upstairs and downstairs.  The picture of the room with the 2 LVL beams running parrallel to each other is the bonus room above the garage.

What's wrong with me?  I could ask you the exact same thing.

Anything going above the front door, or is that going to stay a big blank wall?  Seems to be crying out for glass...

          2. Stilletto | Jul 25, 2006 01:46am | #10

It gets a big window,  two big double hungs side by side then an arched top window to cap it all off.

I left the sheeting on because I frame the openings after the window shows up.  The outside sheeting gets cut to the RO size.  Then I cut a matching piece for the inside and put blocks in between the two pieces of sheeting.

The drwallers really like the openings done this way as opposed to a couple of 2x4's nail at 45 degree angles in the RO.What's wrong with me?  I could ask you the exact same thing.

Update on lot 12,    got the siding started, and the deck built.  90%  of the doors and windows are in.  Waiting on some special order doors.

      What the problem is?

      1. Stilletto | Sep 16, 2006 03:10am | #15

        Forgot the pictures.

        What the problem is?

        1. TomMGTC | Sep 16, 2006 06:51am | #16

Is there any wrap or felt going on under that siding?Tom

Sure is,  look at the first pictures in the thread.  The whole house has Tyvek on it.

As for the parts of the garage when I framed it I left the Tyvek off untill the roofers had ran all their flashing.  Then I run the Tyvek and siding over that.

            What the problem is?

          2. TomMGTC | Sep 16, 2006 02:50pm | #18

Sorry, I should have gone back and looked at the others. The thing I was curious about was at the cornerboard. How is the wrap detailed there?Tom

          3. Stilletto | Sep 16, 2006 02:56pm | #19

The Tyvek is overlapped around the corner.  If the corner is in a trouble area (where a roof dumps into it)  I use the self adhesive window tape on the nail flanges of it as well.

            What the problem is?
