I’ve recently started having a problem with water pressure, especially in my 2 year old kitchen. I’ve had some gurging & air bubbles in various bathrooms as well, but the kitchen seems the worst. This morning, the kitchen faucet dropped to a trickle. I went into the bathroom and pressure was just fine. Do I have air bubbles or something in some of my pipes ? We lost power a week or so ago, so perhaps air got into the system somehow ? (We’re on a well )
Any thoughts ?

Two years old kitchen, but maybe a much older well and tank ?
Sounds like your tank is "waterlogged". Walk out to the well and see if you can tell from the pressure guage if it's cycling frequently. Maybe you've lost your head of air in the tank.
Shut off the power to the pump, open the lowest water valve nearest the tank, and open whatever port is available to allow air to enter the tank as water leaves it. You'll be back in business.

Thanks ..... the well can't be more than 200 years old !! But the tank is only about 5 years old. I think it has a rubber bladder of some kind. I'll give those ideas a try.

It seems isolated to the kitchen sink .... so maybe the faucet/sprayer hose under the sink & pipe in that area have air stuck in there somewhere ?
Remove the diverter and screen fron the spout and flush out the lines. Sounds like something could be floating in the line and causing you to have occasional problems.
Thanks for the suggestions. I called a plumber & It ended up being the switch (can't remember the name) that turns the pump on & off. It was allowing the tank to get too empty, and letting it fill up too full.
Thanks so much for the wrap-up ! Often these threads die a natural death, and we are left to wonder.
Half-past 5 here. Meet me in the Tavern . . . I'm buying !
