Hi. Anyone out there know where I can buy crown molding stops and an another side fence for my new Makita LS1013FL 10″ Miter saw. I have searched thru the web and no luck. Makita’s web site stinks.
Thanks in advance

Source control, ventilation, and filtration are the keys to healthy indoor air quality. Dehumidification is important too.

Confess!
You set it for a left bevel and forgot to flip the fence.
DAMHIKT!
IIRC the replacement fence on the 12" was about $24.
I did a google on - repair parts LS1013F - and the found these.

I don't remember who I used, but I think that it was parts direct.
Those sites might have the stops. They might be in the parts list as accessories or they might be in another listing.
But a google on - Makita 192628-9 - will find them at many of the common tool places including Amazon.
.
A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
Thanks for the help!!

Glad to see I'm not the only one...
I got my side fence for my Makita at my local tool store, never saw the crown stops that your looking for.

If your looking for the right side fence, the higher add on one, I got one at Seven Corners Hardware in St. Paul, MN.
Not cheap though IIRC, about $60. Not sure if the have the crown stops, its best to call and ask. They dont always have everything listed in the catalog or online.

If you have an 'Authorized Makita Service Center' nearby they can order whatever you need. The local rental center in my podunk area is one (shockingly, since they don't sell/rent Makita tools from what I can tell) and were able to help me out after 2 lumber yards gave me the vacant stare when I asked about accessories.
