I’d like to start a discussion about marketing. Keep in mind that the purpose if marketing is to “initially” create interest in one’s product or service, but “ultimately”, to increase the bottom line and/or increase market share, even when introducing a new product or service. So my emphasis will be on increasing the bottom line.
Via various sources, I’ve come up with several ideas to meet, or at least, address the above goals, vai marketing. Please keep in mind that these first six are just ideas being thrown out for comments, dissecting, or what ever. They are all important to consider, all malleable, and intended to get the reader’s innovative juices flowing, and to collaborate. However, it would take many pages to explain them all, so I decided to use several separate threads to allow discussions of them by interest.
Here’s a very brief list of these threads:
1. VISUAL AIDS: Walls of Dentist’s vs doctor’s offices.
2. THE EXPERIENCE ECONOMY, and generated ideas.
3. PROJECT SITE VISITS – Potential client visit to the site of a project in progess.
4. ADVERTISING COPY – A complete rehaul needed?
5. DOCUMENTS OF BAD INSTALLATION – Articles of: nail pop, wood decay, etc., as a sales and marketing tools
6. CSCS potential, either separately or in combination with any of the above.
