I’m hoping I saw this here. I had a link to a metal supply house that sold small quantities . Somehow I managed to lose the link and now want to order something. I think they were in the Southeast. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. The place sold pieces as small as 1′ if thats any help.

I usually go to a metal fabricator. Just remember, something in his trash can is still "material" if you want it.
Usually cash talks and that will be the place to get stainless, brass or aluminum in small pieces.
Your profile doesn't show where you are. In most good sized cities in Canada we have The Metal Supermarket that sells a large selection of all types of metal in small quantities. It has the added bonus that they don't treat you like a DIYer if you aren't covered in welding burns, like most metal shops do.
I think it was metalsonline.com or similar..
