Drill a hole at the pipe/conduite location. Cut siding verticaly or horizontal for the edge of the siding nearest the hole and slide the siding in place. Back up the slit cut with another piece of siding long enough to catch the screw/nail patern and buttered with a good polyuertane caulk.
Not perfect, but you don't have many choices.
Thanks Dave. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on trimming the slit out.
A match
If I have the material to work with (meaning some extra) I shingle the wall in . Pretty much the same as working on penetrations on a roof.
Mark the hole, cut the sheet 3" above the top edge of the hole along with cutting a slot to accommodate the pipe. The make up another sheet with a reverse of the slot and fit it over the pipe and over the lower sheet.
Leaves just a small area right at the pipe to be caulked.
Great idea! Thanks.
