   greenfield has always ment empty flex metal conduit around here... if it comes with wires it's bx ac or mostly MC cable

   don't know about the metal stud thing

   Might be a stud shooting blanks.How much wire did you get pulled? Do you have a sparky that pulled the permit?Chucklive, work, build, ...better with wood

   Been in metal studs 20 years, never heard 'em called greenfield.
