Many beam manufacturers have software for designing their beams. At the very least, they put out design guides for the beams. Check with a local lumberyard or truss manufacturer. They're the most likely to have this info available.
*Go down to your local lumberyard and get the span tables provided from Trus-Joist. If you dont know how to use them Im sure someone at the yard can show you how. Assuming your local yard carries TJM....

Hey Curt, Give Georgia-Pacific a call. Tech assistance is 800-423-2408. Be ready to give them a detailed description of the structure, spans, loads ect. Have fun, Mark S.
*I would never suggest that someone rely on "someone in the yard" to interpret span tables for engineered lumber. When purchasing microlam, or any engineered product, the member should be sized, by the manufacturer's engineering department, using span and load information from the plans and/or designer of record.
*Try some of these web sites out.b http://www.tjm.com/PressReleases/PRNewMicrollamLVL.htmlb http://www.mbltd.com/prod/mb-prbcw.html b http://www.bcewp.com/index.htm b http://www.weyerhaeuser.com/facts/bmd.htm b http://www.uspconnectors.com/ewp.htm Just Cut and Paste in your address bar they are all cood sites. I'd go to the top two first. The last is also one that you will need to visit because it deals with hangers and connectors.
