I (a North Carolina homebuilder) have a customer who travels between here and Chicago who has brought me a picture of a brick she would like on her house. The brick looks like a minature split face block and appears to have an almost glistening effect. The problem is she has no idea where is came from and I have no idea how to find it. Any ideas, or has anyone seen a brick like this before? Thanks for any input.

Was the photo in a book, magazine, brochure? Any identification on those? Work backwards through the publisher, you might get lucky? DIY photo? Tough, unless there are some brick guru's out there.
When attempting to match brick I take my sample to the brick yard. Some of those guys can recognize and quote style, year and manufacturer before you get out of your truck.
