We have a home that is near the delaware bay, recently we have noticed some mildew spots on our clothes and shoes in our closets. We are not full time residents, what can I do to eliminate this problem. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks Dutch

If the closets are on outside walls, keep closet doors open to allow heat + air in.
Control moisture sources in house such as damp crawlspaces, basement leakage.
Run a dehumidifier with drain hose to keep Relative Humidity about 50-55%
Keep a bit of heat on while away or set the heat a bit higher while away.
