I was just told about this product. It is a stucco type product that is very hard and can be used for walls, floors, counters etc. While it looks like concrete, it is much thinner, and supposedly more elastic. My on-line research shows that it was developed in Seattle, and all of the related websites are from businesses in the Seattle area.
I had been set on building concrete counters for our kitchen project, but now I am intrigued with this product…….
So, anyone familiar with Milestone? Comments? Warnings? Suggestions?
Thanks,
B.

I found that the Milestone product is similiar, if not identicle to, a product called Skimcote. Both call themselves a "hybridized portland cement". Basically a mixture used in place of water with portland cement to create a hard, thin concrete veneer which can be used for counters, walls, sculptures, showers etc. See http://www.milestonehpc.com/ for more info...
Does this product ring any bells with BTers? Warnings? recomondations?
Thanks
