Don’t know the trade name for these things, but thinking it maybe a tool
I could really use. Milwaukee had one at HD, other brands? Experience using these hand held models. I’ve seen my plumbers in action, but not a
hand held model. Your thoughts please!

Used mine just yesterday. It's by Ridgid but they're the same thing as Milwaukee. They're wonderful.
Work is slow & am thinking about doing colonoscopes on the side with it.

You can take that job and shove it.

When push comes to shove, somebody's gonna figure out that "push" and "shove" mean the same danged thing.
I have the Ridgid too. I bought it when I was blowing in insulation. I used it to check for diagonal bracing inside my walls. Works good. Not sure what else I'll use it for, but it's cool to have.

Smaller video head than most anyone else.
they have one at harbor freight... they also have a sewer camera that cost less than one trip from the sewer guy to camera your pipes... i'd think you could use it in walls also?

I have the Rdgid camera too. I think it is a very useful gizmo. I've used it to check for leaks in showers bases from under the floor through a potlight, check drain lines for obstructions, but the best use is for fishing wire. i do a lot or remodeling in house old enough to have lathe, etc. Running wires through walls is a breeze, you can see where the wires curled up to or what they got stuck on. The rigid even has a little hook that can snag the wires to help direct them. The big deal to me is that you can see the wires while you push the fish sticks.

I've used one of these for years http://www.sjmediasystem.com/lsd-55400.html the light is puny but Ive since added a cheapo LED light to the tip and it does a great job in wall cavities
