I have a 16′ round INTEX pool that has the metal frame around it. I am having trouble keeping the legs from sinking in the mud. I have seen some sort of plastic foot that makes a bigger foot print but i don’t know what they are called or where to find them could someone please help

Try some pieces of Trex or similar .

You're a little late, trying to shore up those posts but let's see what we can come up with.
I used to install vinyl liner pools each summer, for about six-seven years when work was scarce. Started out with above grounds and probably installed forty of them over the years.
I used half a 2" thick concrete patio block, an 8"X8" piece, under each support post. That's probably too thick a piece to try too get under your posts now so I'd suggest that you buy a sheet of 1/2" pressure treated plywood.
You can cut pieces to about 6"X 12". Then jamb them in under the posts, using a heavy hammer to hit another block of wood so as to protect the edge of the plywood. That should displace the mud and leave you with a better footing for the posts.
I've never been asked to fix a problem like your's so this is only an educated idea.
Good luck with it.
I APPRECIATE THE IDEA I DIDN'T HAVE THE POOL COMPLETLEY FILLED YET WITH MY WORK SCHEDULE IT TAKES A FEW DAYS. BY THE WAY YOU ANYWHERE AROUND KINGSTON?
Not even in NYS at the moment. Usually in the Mid-Hudson, an hour or so from Kingston.
Depends on how soft the mud is...
How about some 4"x8"x16" solid cinder blocks? And a shovel...
use cap blocks or those concrete pavers under each leg and on top a bed of gravel....
