Usually, my crew and I are just framers, but we just took on a job that requires installing a whole lot of 6″ pine lap siding. The home-owner is requesting double-dipped ring-shank nails. Who’s got the best gun and nail for this?

I believe that Maze nails makes collated galvanized ring shank siding nails for any framing nailer you may have. Do a search under Maze Nails and I'm sure you could locate a supplier near you.

Thanks for the tip, with much discussion the local distributors can help me out./carpenterjohn
Hitachi makes a siding nailer, expensive but worth it if you plan to do alot of siding. If you don't plan to do much siding in the future, hand nail it. You can buy either stainless steel or galvanized siding nails.
