The pine is going on to 3/4″ ply. I would like to use 2 1/2″ Senco 15 gauge finish. But don’t think they have the holding power. Any help?

Believe it or not, I've used 3" round-head framing nails on wide plank pine. No apologies, no filling. It's fast, works great on cupped boards and countersinks itself. Leaves a nice rustic hole to prove it's an authentic hand-made floor. Don't really see the nail itself.
For good measure, I first nail the tongue using a flooring nailer. That might take require some adjustment with shiplap, or maybe the 15 gauge will stand-in for that...
I do splined ends and hit the joists, not just the subfloor with the rest of the nails...

Thanks for the advice. Do you put a biscuit at the ends?
I used splines ripped from some old 1/8" paneling.
NROUY,
Ditto what weed said, nail the tounges with a flooring stapler. You may then nail the lap side with a ring shank nail. After the floor is finished you can hide the head of the ring shank with decorative nails like these: http://www.snapfastener.com/decorativenails1.htm
