The time has come to put a new roof on my home, which has a low slope roof. Currently I have a EPDM roof, but have been encouraged away from that material by a few installers.
One installer is recommending BondCote NBP roofing be installed. Does anyone have any experience with this material? The installer stands behind the product with an inclusive 15-year warranty, which is a major selling point in my mind.
Thanks for your insight!

Nitrile Butadiene Polymer is what NBP stands for. Bondcote is the only company I can find using that paticular kind of rubber for roof membranes.
Never heard of it previously. IIWY, I'd stick with a membrane with a little longer/wider track record such as EPDM or TPO.

How long hs the installer been in business? How firmly establlished are they in your community? A 15 year warranty from the installer could be meaningless if they ahave come and gone in the next few years.
Judge the roofing product on its own merits.
Judge the installer on his own merits.
At the same time, don't force them to use something they've never before used. You don't want to be the guinea pig/training ground for them.
You need to strike a balance between which roofing material you choose and who does the installation. Without a fair amount of experience it's a tough call and sometimes comes down to a craps shoot (a gamble, having no certainty of the outcome).
Talk to several roofers.

are those installers even familiar with EPDM?
Or are they just pushing what they havea franchise in?
How long has this stuff been around?
EPDM has a sixty year track record.
