Looking for a ureathane coating (satin alkyd) for oak floors, (that other contractors have used,) that is tough as nails. Willing to order if it is local/special. Brushed or rolled. MUST have excellent flow out. Drying time not critical.

I've had great luck with General Finishes Armor Seal. I'ts listed as a "heavy duty oil and urethane top coat suitable for floors". I've used it on wood floors in my office with great results. General Finishes Corp. P.O. box 51567, New Berlin, WI 53151. (262)786-6050. Depending on where you live you may have to try getting it directly from the manufacturer, as they are not widely distributed.
*I use polo plaz i think there web site is http://www.polo plaz.com
*The hardest finish for floors on the market hands down is moisture curing polyurethane.Harco Chemicals 800-445-3777. Only try to apply it in the morning with low humidity. Apply narrow bands to keep a wet edge, and by all means, wear a respirator. Has zylene in it. GW
