Call a restaurant supply. Most commercial range makers also make a wall backing that comes in squares, diamonds and flat sheets.

*Hello Dave, Try abbingdon.comThey make ceiling and wall panels, tiles, etc... and they are one of the largest manufacturers I know of.James DuHamel
*Davo,The "Chemetal" company makes a varity of stainless steel laminate products. Here in Dallas they are distributed by Nevamar. We used them to make a room full of cabinets for a pool house here about a year ago. I don't know if they have what you need, but it seemed that chemetal had all kinds of stuff to choose from.Good luck,Ed. Williams
*Thanks guys. The info you've given me has been real helpful.James, I've contacted Abbingdon. Their Web site is not quite "up & running" yet, but they left their phone number. I called them and it sounds like they may have what I'm looking for. They're sending me out a brochure.Ed, I'm going to contact Chemetal in the morning and check them out too.My sincere Thanks to all of you who took out time to respond. Thanks Again,Davo

Davo,
If the material you saw was truely a formed stainless steel it was probably made by RIGIDIZED METALS CORPORATION in Buffalo, NY. You can call them at 800-836-2580. The make a multitude of patterns in many metals. But sit down when you start talking about prices. Most of thier stuff is for the commercial market and it's not cheap, but then neither is the quality of thier product.

I recently was on a trip to the West Coast. I saw some interior walls that contained metal sheet paneling. It was either chrome or brushed stainless. The paneling had raised 4 inch squares all over it; simulating the design of ceramic tile. these walled areas were approx 3 feet wide by 8 foot high. It was impressive. I live in the Ohio Valley region, approx 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, Pa. My local lumber supplier doesn't carry anything like this. The best he can do is order me panels of plain brushed stainless. I am in the process of remodeling my kitchen and like the art/deco look that this embossed panel would give. Does anyone know what this panel is actually called, and who supplies it? I want to buy some. Thanks.
