NEED HELP! Concrete stain problem!
Hey gang…been awhile, been busy like most everyone. Here’s the problem…New construction, and the HO’s stained the concrete…well, pretty bad results..not sure but the contractor might have used a curing agent…or…perhaps the prep wasn’t perfect…not sure.. but what’s done is done, they have flogged themselves with wet noodles for days and now are in need of a solution. They are considering painting over it, but we need to know what the process should be. Neutralize?? Then a primer coat?? Any thoughts on the “right” product to use? REALLY APPRECIATE any and all thoughts that might help..(keep in mind, they are feeling really bad already, so don’t need that type of help.) Anyway, thanks again, hope all is well with everyone. What concrete where -- floor? wall? driveway? Intentional stain that didn't turn out right, or accidental stain?
happy?
Oops, really sorry...long day. They are acid staining their finished concrete floor..whole house. Don't know what brand they used. They got lots of small "dots", parts didn't "take" stain well at all. Hope that helps? Thanks for reply, BeckRe-Home Solutions Inc.
Cheapest and fastest approach is get a floor scrubbing machine with a Scotchbrite pad, go over the floor wet really well, rinse clean, and try the same color stain one more time.If that doesn't do it, you might have a problem.Power always thinks it has a great soul and vast views beyond the
