The first thing that comes to mind is expanded PVC sheets or trade name SINTRA. It is glueable to itself with pvc cement though there is a simple technique for doing so. It’s waterproof, wears well, comes in different thicknesses. It’s not as rigid as plywood but I suppose it could be laminated to it. It’s not cheap but could be what your looking for. Look for plastic suppliers or exhibit dealers. Also makes great sign boards, paints great.

Kennels will be in basement, cinderblock walls to start, concrete floor. I know there are epoxy-type paints for walls and floor, but should we worry about the joint where wall meets floor? Also, interior wall leading out of kennel will be 2x4 studs with sheet rock or something (suggestions?). Also worried about sealing that wall/floor connection. FYI: these kennels will not have full-time use as our dogs, though truly working dogs, also lead the life of riley when off-duty. They'll eat in kennels and occasionally sleep there, living there only when we're away. So we don't have to worry much about odor/urine buildup, etc.

FRP (fiberglass Panels) are available at Lowes and Home Depo around here. 4x8 sheets, fairly easy to install. Use cove base at the bottom.
