I was able to get some work this summer out in northern Ontario. Things seem to be just a little bit different than what I deal with in the city. The homeowner we were working for had bought a few acres of land on Lake Joseph back in the early eighties, This is a well to do area. So this owner as you would guess is quite well to do. He’s made his fortune in a construction related industry, hence knows everything about construction.
Well he applie for permits, town was a little slow to produce them. So he decided it wasn’t a big deal to start construction. So a few days in the property was well underway. A township inspector caught wind of this and promptly went over to the property and posted a great big stop work order on one of the tree’s in the entrance. So work was stopped for the remainder of the day. First thing the next morning, homeowner fires up the chainsaw and cuts the tree down!! The inspector was not impressed.

Sounds like when Mike Tyson cut down a bunch of trees on his property a few years back and all the neighbors were p.o.'d as he left the trunks standing.
Wasn't that Mr. T (not our Mr. T, the other one)?
Doh! My bad. You are correct.

Claiming they were aggravating his allergies, Mr. T take a chainsaw to more than 100 mature trees on his multi-acre estate in Lake Forest, Illinois. He has also claimed, at various times, that he did it "to piss off the white people" who shunned him in Lake Forest. He tells one of his neighbors in "Tree City, USA" that a chainsaw is "music to my ears."
