I’m in the middle of construciton on my new home and my shop is going in the basement. I want to paint the walls/floor white to brighten it up and help keep the surface a little smoother so sawdust doesn’t stick as well. How soon can i paint the concrete, what type of paint(I know they have “concrete paint” but is it really nescesary), should they be sealed with something first. I know I should mix some sand in the floor paint for traction/slipping. Thanks.
