Help! In a recent (?) FHB I saw (or thought I saw) a product review for a new type of sash glazing putty that cured rapidly. Now after an hour and a half of flipping thru back issues I can’t find it and nothing on the web either. Have I lost it, or did others see the same item?
TIA

It does exist, but my notes for it are in the truck that is on the job, not home.

I have used it and it is pretty good. However do not try to tool it to much. Also it shrinks a little creating a slightly concave finish.
I have used the glazing detailed in the posting from "reinvent". I agree with reinvent that it is hard to tool and it does shrink and becomes concave. I had two windows with 25 5" by 5" panes and tried it on the first one. It was tough to get decent looking corners. I switched back to the old fashion way for the second window. BUT, I also used it for a two pane window (roughly 24" by 24" panes, and it was much easier to use. In short, for large panes, I was very happy with the product. For small panes, I could not get it to look as good as I wanted.
If you order it on-line, they are very prompt in shipping.
