got a new favorite.
works great for walls.
did a shower … has great initial “tack” … and virtually no slipping.
it was actually hard to move the 2.5 x 5 tiles to set the spacers after I’d run just one or two rows … stick them once … and they’re stuck.
pushed my luck … as I usually “trap” the open sides of the side walls with furring to keep everything from slipping as it dries overnite … chanced it … no furring …
so sags.
Great stuff to work with …
Mapei UltraLite.
won’t do a shower wall with it.

HD (sorry) has a speedset or something that I use in my rentals for the bathroom floors. Can walk on the tiles in 6, count 'em, 6 hours.
Beats tiling late in the day and having to wait 36 hours to grout. One bathroom per family. Got to get them DONE.
If you're talking about the stuff that comes in boxes...yeh, that stuff is really nice but really expensive!!If Blodgett says Tipi Tipi Tipi, it must be so!
No, it's in a bag.
Does this mean I won't have to be going over board all the time and back buttering : )
